Noth earned Golden Globe nominations for his roles in Sex and the City (2000) and The Good Wife (2011), and has since been featured in several Sex and the City-related projects including the 2021 reboot, And Just Like That. Noth has also starred in several films, such as Lovelace (2013), Elsa & Fred (2014), and White Girl (2016). Since his Law & Order days , Noth appeared as Peter Florrick, the husband of the main character in The Good Wife from 2009–2016 and as Carrie Bradshaw's on-and-off love interest Mr. Noth reprised his role as Logan in the third Law & Order spin-off, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, appearing in 36 episodes from Seasons 4-7, formally retiring from the force in Criminal Intent Season 7, Episode 21 ("Last Rites"). We’ll have to wait and see.Detective Megan Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) and Detective Mike Logan (Chris Noth) from Season 6 Episode 22 of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But then i got this ray of hope from watching this episode. I was put off by the intensive filler like scenes at the start which reminded me how much I hated some episodes in season 1. I guess it’s heavily guarded and a big chunk of episodes will be dedicated to Shiroe and gang making it there and fighting whatever that blocks their way.Īnyway, we also get to see some real life references that somehow describe how Shiroe was like in real life. The whirlpool of gold seems to be sealed off and guarded? So I guess Shiroe now has to gather a party and perform a raid on wherever the money is hidden at. While I never liked Shiroe, I thought that was pretty badass.īut now here’s the problem. He just wanted to tell him that he knew and if it was possible he could just let him have the money for free anyway. If I’m not wrong, he wasn’t really there to seek permissions or ask for favours. So basically Shiroe’s confrontation with Kinjou of the Kinue clan was to basically to inform him that he knew the source of where all the gold was coming from. I guess that is how you could “reverse-explain” the mechanics of a game. ![]() ![]() The Kinue clan, apparently owns a whirlpool of gold and somehow, some kind of magical device is responsible for giving reborn spirits (of monsters) gold so that they can conveniently drop them to players who defeat them. This brings up something often taken for granted in games. ![]() And therefore, the turning point in episode 1 for me here was when Shiroe was discussing the money mechanisms with Kinjou and Reagan. All that spirit theory and the concept of losing memory when you die, I’ve got to admit that was interesting. If there was something that felt right about Log Horizon in season 1, it was their detailed discussions about the inner mechanics of Elder tale. Season 2 seems to start off with a clean slate, though I don’t really understand/remember why Shiroe has money problems. Actually I kind of don’t remember where Season 1 left off. Then somehow Shiroe is having some kind of money dilemma and now he needs to leave his guild to go some where unknown. Rating: PG-13 - Teens 13 or older Statistics Score: 7. Majority of season one felt filler-ish too actually so it wasn’t a big surprise. Premiered: Fall 2013 Broadcast: Saturdays at 17:30 (JST) Producers: NHK Licensors: Funimation, Sentai Filmworks Studios: Satelight Source: Light novel Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy Themes: Adult Cast, Video Game Duration: 24 min. So we’re in some kind of pumpkin festival. I guess they’re new characters after all. And then suddenly crappy database song kicks in and okay, we’re back to the “real world” again. The prediction horizon of Q-MPC was set to 20 for episodes 10 to 30, 5 for episodes 30 to 200, and 1 for episodes 500 to 1,000. I guess this would be “positive boobies” in terraformar terms? (or is that some kind of push up armour we haven’t seen before) and then suddenly there was this big boobed version of Akatsuki. We don’t even get to sit down and recap what the heck happened one year ago? Okay, we see characters that make us go “umm, have we seen this guy before”. Season 2 started off with some kind of battle. Therefore, I only picked up season 2 because I wanted to be sympathetic for once and here’s me giving Log Horizon a 2nd chance. Then again, Sword art online, while not perfect, is still MUCH more tolerable. The way season 1 ended was also a big fat joke. Well, it had some “this might be good” moments, but then more often then not, it was plain and boring. (still not thrashy as Zankyou no terror) and it was severely overrated. Season One was pretty much below average. ![]() I approached this without much expectations. Do people even think it’s a good song!? I mean, like really!? Whose idea was it to use that stupid database song again.
